Sean Zavary left his family’s furniture empire to start in real estate in 2016. His inclination to furniture sales catapults him into the real estate investing industry, where talking and connecting to individuals is essential. He built his company GreenLight Offers, the best in the Houston market. The company provides sellers an easy, simple, honest, and most possible money for their houses. At the height of COVID-19 in 2020, he was able to increase net profits to 57% of $1.4 million as revenue in just one market.

  1. Success is not inherited. To earn it, one must work hard for it. Also, work smarter with the quality of deals rather than working harder with the quantity of deals.
  2. Effective and consistent marketing keeps the business going. It’s costly at the start, but it pays off in the long run. Utilizing unique marketing channels, such as TV and radio, can help the business stand out from the others. 15% to 20% of earnings to marketing.
  3. Integrating similar roles/positions such as disposition and transaction coordinating can be beneficial in minimizing costs.
  4. Be fearless in doing the right thing for the business to grow. Have faith, embrace the process and enjoy the journey.
  5. Before joining a Mastermind, know and research first the persons behind and within it. If you can’t connect with them, then it’s pointless to be part of it.
  6. There’s no shame in copying the structures and processes of others. If it works for them, it might well work for everyone.
